Project Winterization
Neighborhood Clean-up…”Block by Block”

We will be having a Community clean-up "Project winterization" in the West End Area off of Lawton Street on Saturday, October 17, 2009 from 9am to 1pm.
We are looking for volunteers to come join us while we clean up the area by picking up trash and debris and while we initiate winterization in the neighborhoods by cleaning gutters, cleaning around the house, educating the members of the community on how to safe on electricity and become more energy efficient by making sure window and door cracks are sealed and/or prevented, checking fire detectors, educating on carbon monoxide detectors and cleaning their furnaces and checking their pipes to prevent some common winter energy issues.
Project Winterization is our first event in this community and we are focusing on helping the residents in these surrounding communities with other additional activities in the near future. If you are interested in joining DAIB Foundation and have additional project ideas please contact us. We are in need of volunteers and people who want to help others by lending your time and skills to help others in their misfortune.

Father/Daughter Dance

The DAIB Foundation will be sponsoring a Father/Daughter Dance on Saturday, December 5, 2009. The Dance will be a celebration of father's for all that they do in the life of their daughters. Please stay posted for additional information as it will be released in the following week.
DAIB Foundation "Christmas Gala"

The DAIB Foundation will have their yearly "Christmas Gala" on Friday, December 11, 2009. The event will take place in Atlantic Station and tickets are on sale now. The tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the door. The price of the tickets include entry into the "PRIVATE" party and a stub for 1 (one) Premium Shelf Drinks at the bar and to the buffet bar. There will be premium shelf drinks all night and there will also be a "Special Christmas Gift Raffle".
